- Learners should have sufficient English language skills to understand course materials, participate in learning activities, complete written assessment work and communicate their understanding effectively.
- There is no requirement to hold a previous substance misuse qualification before starting the CPCAB Level 2 Award in Understanding Substance Misuse.
- Learners should be willing to engage respectfully with sensitive topics relating to drugs, alcohol, addiction, recovery, health risks, personal attitudes and substance misuse.
